Having order is valued in military families, ,there is a fine line between order, perfectionism.Perfectionist parents, by setting extreme standards for their children, which is usually due to their anxiety ,is not commensurate with their children's abilities, talents, possibilities, unconsciously create the conditions for disrupting their mental health, which reduces their self-efficacy.The study aimed to identify the mediating role of mental health in the relationship between perfectionism ,parental anxiety with self-efficacy of children of military families.
Research Method:This's an applied research that was conducted using a descriptive-correlational method. The method of collecting field data ,the collection tools were the standard questionnaires of parental perfectionism by Besharat et al.(2011), anxiety by Cattell1958), general health(GHQ-28), general self-efficacy (GSE-17) by Sherer and Maddox(1982).The statistical population of the study included military parents and female elementary school students living in military settlements in Tehran in 1402.Using the Cochran formula, through multi-stage cluster random sampling method, 270 students 270 parents were selected as samples. Pearson correlation coefficient and path analysis were used to examine the research hypotheses using SPSS27 software.
