Abstract

The aim of this study was to predict the hope and motivation of male police station employees based on resilience, self-efficacy and optimism. In this regression correlational study, the statistical population was male employees of police stations in Tabriz who were serving in 2022-2023 and 160 people were selected by random cluster sampling and responded to Conner & Davidson resilience tools (2009), Sherer and Maddux self-efficacy scale (1982), Snyder hope (1991), Lawrence & Jordan motivation (2009) and Scheier & Carver optimism questionnaire (1985). Data were analyzed using SPSS-21 With pearson and regression. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between resilience, self-efficacy and optimism with hope and motivation of employees. Also, resilience and optimism can predict hope and motivation among police stations staff in Tabriz (P<0.01). Accordingly, It can be concluded that psychological variables such as resilience, self-efficacy and optimism have relationship with motivation and hope of police station employees.
