Cognitive warfare means targeting the cognition of the general public and elites of the target society in order to change values, beliefs, attitudes and behaviors through the management of perceptions and emotions. In particular, emotions are ways to cope and adapt to social situations that life presents. It is obvious that one of the goals of cognitive warfare is to influence the emotional system of people. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the emotional system functions in the face of incoming stimuli in cognitive warfare. For this purpose, a process model has been presented based on the adaptation between the octonionic sociocognitive relational emotions model and the dual-process model (explicit and implicit attitudes) of cognitive value warfare, which aims to examine the dimensions of cognitive warfare with an emotional approach in society. The evaluation of cognitive-social processes has been effective in the formation of these emotions. This research has been carried out by the library and theoretical method and with the approach of presenting a model. With the help of this model, it is possible to show how the cognitive warfare artillery by firing and sending different stimuli through hostile media, social networks, etc. affects implicit and explicit attitudes in the context of emotions and this process can predict what emotions and behaviors in the society. The presented model can provide a suitable framework to decipher the activities carried out in the field of cognitive warfare with an emotional approach.
