Abstract
In recent decades, particularly following the rapid expansion of the influence of mass media and social networks, the subject of perception management—aimed at advancing strategic objectives—has become so crucial that most states now consider the capacity to shape public perception a foundational component of national power and security. The Lebanese Hezbollah movement, throughout its long-term confrontation with the Zionist regime, has effectively designed and implemented perception‑management strategies based on an accurate understanding of the target audience, thereby succeeding in altering the calculations of the regime’s officials and commanders at critical junctures. The main purpose of this research is to propose a conceptual model of Hezbollah’s perception management over the Zionist regime. Adopting a qualitative Grounded Theory methodology with an exploratory–fundamental orientation, the study collected data through expert focus groups and forty in‑depth nterviews, which were subsequently coded and analyzed. The findings indicate that perception management, as a key element of power, results in preventive deterrence against the Zionist regime. Moreover, the strategies derived from this model can be adapted by other segments of the resistance front. When implemented intelligently as a documented theoretical framework and structured model, these strategies can be used for the reconstruction,re‑empowerment, and reorganization of this successful capability in Hezbollah’s new phase—particularly after the Awli al‑Bas operation during the Al‑Aqsa Storm ultimately contributing to the strengthening of the regional anti‑Zionist resistance movement.
